Annual Science Fair 2025 – A Day of Discovery at Rainbow Schools
Annual Science Fair 2025 – A Day of Discovery
Rainbow Schools | July 2025
Last week, our school campus buzzed with excitement as students, teachers, and parents gathered for the Annual Science Fair 2025. Held over one full school day, the event saw over 80 project stalls set up across the main hall and outdoor courtyard — making it our biggest science fair yet.
What Happened at the Fair?
Highlights from the Day
Students from Grades 3 to 10 spent weeks preparing models, experiments, and research displays. On the day of the fair, each team got the chance to present their work to judges, teachers, and fellow students.
- Grade 3–5 students built working models on topics like the water cycle, volcanoes, and solar energy.
- Grade 6–8 teams focused on environmental science, with projects on recycling, pollution, and plant growth.
- Grade 9–10 students presented advanced experiments including robotics, chemical reactions, and data science.

🏆 Best Project Award
Grade 10 – Team AquaBot
The top prize went to Team AquaBot from Grade 10 for their self-cleaning water filtration model built using recycled materials. The judges praised their research depth and real-world application.
🌱 Most Creative Award
Grade 7 – Team GreenGuard
Team GreenGuard from Grade 7 won for their innovative project on composting household waste into organic fertilizer — complete with a live demonstration that impressed everyone.
⭐ Best Presentation Award
Grade 5 – Team SolarKids
Team SolarKids from Grade 5 wowed the audience with a clear, confident presentation on solar energy, using a working model of a solar-powered toy car they built themselves.

Teachers & Judges
Guiding Young Scientists
Our dedicated teaching staff played a huge role in helping students prepare for the fair. A panel of six judges — including three subject teachers and two parent volunteers with science backgrounds — evaluated projects on creativity, accuracy, presentation, and real-world relevance.
Principal Mrs. Lakshmi addressed the students, saying: "Science is not just a subject — it is a way of thinking. Today, each one of you has shown us that Rainbow students think big."
Parents Join the Celebration
Over 150 parents attended the event, walking through the stalls and cheering on their children. Many parents shared that they were genuinely surprised by the quality and depth of the projects.
A parent feedback stall was also set up where families could leave comments and suggestions — responses that will help us make the Science Fair even better next year.
See You at the Next One!
